Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 September 2026
1. About us
TrustedLocal Leads is operated by Trusted Local Services Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10906847), registered office Suite 215, 26 Cheering Lane, London, E20 1BD ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the TrustedLocal Leads platform (the "Platform").
2. Acceptance
By registering for a Buyer account, or by submitting an enquiry through a form connected to the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not register or use the Platform.
3. The service
The Platform collects enquiries ("Leads") from third-party websites and makes them available for purchase by registered trade and service businesses ("Buyers"). Leads may be sold on an exclusive basis (to one Buyer only) or a shared basis (to multiple Buyers, as stated at the point of purchase). We act as an intermediary connecting Buyers with Leads; we are not a party to any contract, transaction or dealing between a Buyer and the individual who submitted the Lead (the "Enquirer").
4. Registration and eligibility
You must be a registered business or sole trader operating in the United Kingdom to register as a Buyer. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. We may approve, decline or suspend any registration at our discretion.
5. Credits and payment
Leads are purchased using account credit, valued in British Pounds (£) with no separate credit currency. Credit is purchased by card via our payment processor, Stripe. Once a Lead is purchased, the fee is non-refundable except where we uphold a dispute under clause 7. Prices vary by service type and exclusivity level and are shown before purchase.
6. No guarantee of lead quality or outcome
We take reasonable steps to verify that Leads are genuine before making them available for purchase, but we do not guarantee that any Lead will result in a sale, a completed job, or any particular outcome. We are not responsible for the conduct of any Enquirer, the accuracy of information they have provided, or any dispute, complaint or contractual matter arising between a Buyer and an Enquirer following the sale of a Lead — any such matter is solely between the Buyer and the Enquirer. Buyers are responsible for their own conduct, pricing, workmanship and legal compliance in all dealings with Enquirers.
7. Disputes over individual leads
If a Lead is believed to be invalid (for example, a duplicate, an incorrect number, or clearly fraudulent), a dispute may be raised through the Platform within a reasonable period of purchase. We will review the dispute and may, at our discretion, refund the credit for that Lead. Our decision is final.
8. Commission-based arrangements
Where a commission-based arrangement has been agreed in place of a per-Lead credit charge, the Buyer agrees to accurately report the value of completed jobs arising from such Leads and to pay the agreed commission. We may suspend an account for failure to report or pay.
9. Acceptable use
Buyers must not: misuse or resell Lead data other than to contact the Enquirer about their enquiry; use the Platform unlawfully; attempt to circumvent the credit or payment system; or interfere with the Platform's operation.
10. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Where a Lead contains an Enquirer's personal data, Buyers must handle it in accordance with UK data protection law and use it only to follow up on that enquiry.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, consequential or economic loss (including loss of profit or business) arising from use of the Platform. Our total liability in respect of any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account at any time for breach of these Terms, non-payment, fraud, or other reasonable business grounds. A Buyer may close their account at any time by contacting us.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with the courts of England and Wales having exclusive jurisdiction.
