Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Trusted Local Services Limited, trading as TrustedLocal Leads (company number 10906847, registered office Suite 215, 26 Cheering Lane, London, E20 1BD), collects, uses and protects personal data. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

2. What data we collect

  • Buyer account data: name, business name, email, phone number, postcode and service preferences, provided at registration.
  • Enquirer (lead) data: when an individual submits an enquiry via a form connected to the Platform, or an enquiry is logged from a call or email, we collect their name, contact details, postcode/address and enquiry details, in order to pass it to a Buyer who purchases the Lead.
  • Payment data: top-ups are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card details ourselves.
  • Usage data: how the Platform is used, to operate and improve the service.

3. How we use this data

To operate the Lead marketplace, including matching and displaying Leads to eligible Buyers; to process payments; to send account-relevant notifications by email and/or SMS where opted in; to respond to support requests; and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal basis

Performance of a contract (running a Buyer account, processing payments); legitimate interests (matching and distributing Leads, fraud prevention, improving the Platform); and consent (SMS/email alert opt-ins, non-essential cookies).

5. Who we share data with

Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Twilio (SMS), and Buyers who purchase a Lead (who receive that Enquirer's contact details once purchased). We do not sell personal data to third parties.

6. International transfers

Some providers (including Stripe, Resend and Twilio) may process data outside the UK/EEA, relying on recognised safeguards such as UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Data retention

Buyer account data is retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal/accounting reasons. Enquirer (lead) data is retained for a limited period to support dispute resolution and reporting, then deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR: the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your data, and to object or request portability. Contact info@trusted-local.co.uk to exercise these rights, or complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if unsatisfied with our response.

9. Cookies

The site uses essential cookies necessary for it to function (e.g. staying logged in) — see the Cookie Notice for detail.
